Lagoon 42
The new Lagoon 42 is sleek and modern, with curvaceous and flowing exterior lines penned by French designers VPLP. The catamaran is also easier to handle, thanks to a clever deck layout that moves the mast further aft. The self-tacking jib sail also provides ease of handling. The helm station is ergonomically designed so the captain can have direct communication with the cockpit and saloon below. A bimini top provides protection from the sun, while a sliding panel in the top still gives a great views of the sails above. Large, rectangular hull windows bring plenty of light into the staterooms. The owner can choose between three of four staterooms, which have island double-berth beds in the aft cabins and beds with side access in the forward cabins. The U-shaped galley is fitted with wide counters to give plenty of space for preparing meals. Te interior space can be enclosed and enjoyed with air-conditioning, or open to the cockpit outside. Newly designed wide stairs decked in teak lead down from the transom to the water, giving the impression of a much larger yacht.
