The 14.99-metre LOA Swift Trawler 50 is the flagship in Beneteau’s fast fleet of long-range cruisers. From French builder Beneteau, this range of yachts reinvented the traditional trawler with a contemporary silhouette and efficiency even at high speeds. The Beneteau Swift Trawler is the result of collaboration from the builder’s in-house design team, architect Michel Joubert and designer Pierre Frutschi. The Swift Trawler 50 has been redesigned for the 2016 edition with fluid exterior lines. The flybridge deck extends entirely over the aft deck below, providing a shaded area for sitting back and enjoying the water. The flybridge itself can also be entirely shaded by a canvas bimini top, and a windscreen gives excellent protection from the wind while sitting at the steering wheel. The hull of the of Swift Trawler 50 is specifically designed for her twin IPS 600 engines, providing this long-distance yacht with excellent manoeuvrability and efficiency. Not only does the yacht promise a safe ride, but the yacht is safe and easy to move around. Walking forward on the exterior decks, it’s appreciated that the side decks have been widened on the latest version of the Swift Trawler 50 and the deck is surrounded by high bulwarks, making it safe and easy to get from the aft to the forward deck.
