Gran Turismo 50 Sportfly
Designed by the talented team at Nuvolari Lenard, the GT50 replaces the GT49 and fully overhauls the sport cruiser concept. Cleverly designed with a generous cockpit, it can accommodate up to 11 people and travel at incredible speeds of up to 29 knots. The generous layout of the lower decks gives a feeling of space unrivalled on a boat this size. Offering the perfect balance of sporty and practical features on a boat, the yacht can be ordered in Fly or Coupe models, making her an ideal choice for owners wishing to enjoy different usages. She will premiere in Asia at the Singapore Yacht Show 2018. As the flagship of the latest generation of sport cruisers by Beneteau, the Gran Turismo 50 stands apart. Her elegant profile, full-space main deck, and onboard technology with the new Ship Control system Ship Control will win over connoisseurs of beautiful objects and thrill-seekers alike. The Gran Turismo 50 is sporty and elegant, marrying driving sensations and lifestyles on board. Beneteau has shaken up the world of sport cruisers with this largest model of the range featuring a planing hull, Volvo IPS 600 engine power, a built-in retractable sun visor in the Hardtop and modular side glazing. The cockpit continues in the form of a vast protected lounge on the full-space main deck. This fully-flush layout seamlessly connects the interior with the exterior. Ideally situated and perfectly protected by the cap of the hardtop, the cockpit galley can by enhanced with an aft worktop and grill. The tender garage, which is compatible with the Williams Minijet 270, is reached by the huge submersible swim platform. They are ideal for the enjoyment of a wide range of water sports. The interior is refined, spacious and extremely comfortable, with a large number of windows and portholes that fill the lower deck spaces with light. Reached by a portside companionway, the main galley combines design and practicality with a magic corner, lots of storage, refrigerator and freezer, and Corian worktops. The two versions of the Gran Turismo 50 – “saloon cosy” or three cabins – have a full-beam owner’s suite, bathed in light and enjoying an en-suite shower room, as well as dressing room-style fittings. The quality and combination of materials, including deep-pore walnut woodwork as well as lots of decorative details are the hallmark of a luxury boat. The Sportfly version has a second helm station and a dinette transformable into a solarium providing great 360 degree views and some additional socialising space. Common to both Coupe and Fly versions are main deck and the lower deck, in addition to the stern garage for a tender up to 2.90 m and the submersible swim platform with a capacity up to 350 Kg. For the first time on their Power Boat range, Beneteau introduces a digital multifunction system control panel SHIP CONTROL. This interface is located on the navigation screens, on the dashboard, but above all, it replicates entirely on any tablet that connects to the boat’s wi-fi. Lighting can be managed zone by zone, not only from the SHIP CONTROL dashboard, but also from the front of the boat, at the rear, and from the pontoon. It is the same thing for the air conditioning: one chooses the temperature by zone, from our tablet. Audio is also managed in a very simple manner; each zone, as well as each source, can be individually managed. The ergonomics of this screen makes things really simple and intuitive. Owner can also see the level of the batteries, whether they are in charge or not, it is also possible to visualise the level of the fluids (water, fuel, black water), it can even be used to drain black water tanks. There is also a very interesting element, the 220V source management page, where one chooses whether the air conditioning and the 220V outlets are managed from the dock, from the generator or the converter. It is also possible to view the bilge pumps, their locations, whether they are functioning or not, as well as some other functions of the dashboard, such as windlass, horn, underwater lights, all directly from the same interface. This is yachting made easy, by Gran Turismo power boats.
