French builder Beneteau’s Barracuda series is a sportfishing boat offering excellent seakeeping for a safe ride and good performance. Her planing hull provides great stability. With a 200-horsepower outboard engine, she has a top speed of 35 knots, so this boat can get to the fishing grounds quickly and safely. The Beneteau Barracuda 6 has a central wheelhouse, which is inspired by Scandinavian-style fishing boats, creating a safe walk around deck for easy fishing from anywhere on the deck. There are two side doors on the wheelhouse, so the side decks can be accessed easily and safely. The large cockpit is nearly four-square-metres in size, giving plenty of space for fishing or relaxing. For the serious fishermen (or women), the Barracuda 6 can be outfitted with rod holders, side net roller, a live-bait well, and full complement of Lowrance electronics. For cruising, there is a swim platform, cockpit seat and table, sun awning to shade the cockpit and air conditioning. There is a surprising amount of space in the interior, with a double berth, galley and toilet. The interior is appointed in mahogany wood.
